Your data & privacy
Purchase records, preferences and document keys are saved in Keeply’s built-in key-value store, scoped privately to your signed-in account. They are not saved in browser storage.
Images and PDFs are AES-GCM encrypted on your device before uploading to the platform’s public file storage. The filenames are random and each document has a separate encryption key in your private account storage. Receipt scanning, if you choose it, sends the original image to the AI service for analysis.
Private file access is provided by encryption, not private storage buckets. Encrypted uploads may remain after removing a purchase. This is not a zero-knowledge vault; the platform hosts your account-scoped document keys.
